1. Act it out!

Have a go at acting or dancing out the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. You could involve your family! Can you find some costumes or create some props for the story? You could even use the music below to help you set the scene.

Fairytale Music - Jack and the Beanstalk

Listen to the music and act out the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.

2. Shake it up!

Make some seed shakers to create some music!

All you need is:

- Small plastic bottles

- Something to put inside (e.g rice, dried peas, seeds, lentils)

Wash out an empty bottle and let it dry. Fill the bottle with your ingredient and then put the lid back on, securing it with tape or glue - make sure it is secure otherwise the seeds may all come out!

Now you are done! Put on some music or sing a song and shake your shaker to the music.

3. Planting seeds

Have a go at growing your own plants. After you have eaten an apple, pear or another fruit or vegetable, save the seeds you find inside. Find a pot and fill it with soil. Put the seeds in the soil so it is covered. Remember to water it and give it sun light. See if your plant will grow!
